Welcome to the ILPS Advance the Peoples’ Struggle POLITICAL CONFERENCE!

Thank you for attending the ILPS Advance the Peoples’ Struggle Political Conference! We are so excited to convene across struggles and movements to continue building the broad anti-imperialist mass movement right here in the imperial core. Below you will find relevant information for the day, such as the program, maps for the venue, and workshop assignments.

While fascism is on the rise, the militant struggles of workers, student movements, and national liberation movements are rising too. We must seize this time of crisis to strike at US imperialism and to build a united movement against fascism and imperialism through waging fights rooted in the working and oppressed people and building our bonds across movements!

Program

More About the Venue

We are immensely grateful to Itliong-Vera Cruz Middle School and the New Haven Unified School District, located in Union City, for allowing us to use their space for both days of our National Assembly and Political Conference. Itliong-Vera Cruz Middle School is a public school formerly named Alvarado Middle School. It was renamed through community-led efforts in 2015 to honor Larry Itliong and Philip Vera Cruz, Filipino labor leaders who militantly organized worker strikes, including the notable Delano Grape Strike, and took a stand against the Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Dictatorship.

Accessibility

  • The venue is wheelchair accessible with the main program and workshops taking place on the ground level of all buildings
  • There are multiple bathrooms located on campus including access to gender neutral bathrooms
Please be mindful and respectful to those we will be sharing the space with, especially the workers!
